I am up for wander along beach, John in bed where he seems to spend a lot of his time. Missing the best part of the day. The beach area where we are is just down from the marina full of expensive floating mansions and in the other direction beach resorts after beach resorts, all with the sun beds and umbrellas lined in rows. Return for breakfast and shower with latest morning shower time of trip - 10.00 am.

Today the aim is to do bugga all . We go for a wander down the long piazza, shops are very expensive and would need to make a killing in the peak season as seems a lot of down time during other months. The marina is open to all so we decide which floating boat, some the size of a small village we should have. Purchase some large prawns, bread and a bottle of local vino for lunch which in these parts is around 3.00 pm. Head back to Villa Piani to see if we can do some serious damage to the sun lounges !

An important point to be aware of in these parts - Rules of residence, very first rule says, It's forbidden to talk too loud and to make noise during the hours of rest, especially from 13.00 to 15.00. They are my type of rules.

Achieve a positive out come by doing stuff all today, actually first time on trip that I did not have on socks and my walking shoes. Our aim is to repeat today tomorrow.
