Moving day today, breakfast with our friends as normal then we catch the hop on hop off bus for some general sights of Malta. The main destination of interest is the blue Grotto. Look it was ok and one to place a tick onto but not something that you must do. We board a small boat and get taken around into some caves, the term blue grotto comes as a consequence of the sun shining through the exposed holes creating a brilliant blue effect in the water. We get some of this but nothing special. M-all swims in the clear water but it is so cold we sitting out even feel her coldness. She refers to it as refreshing.

Take the flight from Malta to Athens Greece, the airport and the harbour are some distance apart, catch the bus which takes us 90 minutes . We gat off as thousands are also getting off returning ferries so people going every which way. We have a cheap (40euro) hotel booked for the night. Our plan is to get to it and do some online home work as to which Island we are to go to tomorrow. Takes some walking and time to find plus the time difference in the zones we get in at 10.30 pm. We ask for some info at reception but none. We ask for some recommendation on islands as we need to sort from the 100 available but there is none. I feel a problem in my water. The Vella crew use the 2 person lift first, then just as we are about to get into the lift the reception guy calls us back and says Sifnos is very good and a ferry leaves for it at 7.00am in the morning.

Well bugga me. You tell me the odds, if that is not an omen then I know zip. I am not about to tell the Vella's as no one least them would believe me so leave this up to M-L. Not sure they believed her at first but once so their can only be one destination - Sifnos here we come.
