But where are the tea leaves

Great Missenden, United Kingdom
We all have a well deserved sleep in then do the impossible - fit all of our worldly goods into the cars. Is this a boy job or a girl job? After some debate it seems a boy job but only under direct instruction from a girl. Hit the road to our next destination which is located within the New Forest,Brockenhurst is the town and the Balmer Lawn resort our actual base. We go for a wander into said forest which is one of the largest unenclosed parcels of pasture land in England, the home you may be aware of ponies, many of the Shetland variety. We find many all of which are easily approached. This area was for the royals to hunt, my inside knowledge says that William the 1st in 1079 took over the entire area tossing out all from within so as he could go hunting. It was thus a new forest. Now an iconic tourist area.

We take tea, so hopeful of a full service but alas no leaves to be found, all served with a degree of not sure what . This is England, the mother country, the home of pomp, tea service was invented here - sorry no one at home, is it dead, do people care anymore. Disbelief of what has happened, you can not understand how we feel but deflation as we wonder just what has happened to an institution.

Home to D & K's early evening with all washed out and washed up. Unpack under girl supervision then discuss our steps tomorrow.

This is our last full day of our adventures so discuss another sortie into London, we will sleep on it in a real bed. So much to do with so little time to do it in but we have been blessed.
