After our late night watching DVD's we were all late up this morning, I do love the shutters which keep the room so dark will have to look into having them fitted at home. Finally we were all up and having breakfast by 9.30 very late for us.
Breakfast done we put some washing on so we are upto date for next week, then Paul and I went off to Elizabeth Shopping Centre for some help with the problem I'm having connecting the laptop to the dongle I bought on Tues, and guess what it worked perfectly there ut the guy did add in some codes . However, when we got back it was no better and didn't find the Opus network, but then later in the day when the wifi dongle was in the bedroom it connected straight away. Oh technology I will never understand it.
After lunch Paul and I decided to go up into the Adelaide Hills to check out Humbug Scrub Animal Sanctuary as last year it had been in the path of the fires and we didn't know if it had survived. When we arrived we were pleased to see it was still open and the owner told us they had been extremely lucky as the fire went through the top section of the property. However after the fires came the floods which has ruined the entry, driving down we wished we had a 4x4 but we made it. On our first ever trip to Oz this was the only place we got to see a kangaroo, today we got to see two lovely koalas both rescued animals, several wallabies and of course the kangaroo who is now an old man.
By 3 o'clock the temperature was up in the 30's so it wasn't a good idea to be out in the heat for too long so instead of then walking round the Para Wirra park we headed for the pub and a quick cool beer before heading back to the house.
