It sure is a hot hot day with temperatures of between 33 to 36 and we are at the coast must be 40+ in the city. Going to be too hot for much today we need to go into Goowla and shop for an Aussie Bar B we are having later with some friends of the family that are staying in the next road so there will be 14 in all. First stop was the tourist information office to check what there is in the area. We've decided to do the Coorong boat trip again as it was so good last trip. It was nice and cool in the shopping mall and we soon got the shopping done, by now it was time for the Steam Exchange to open and so we just had to stop in for a beer. This has changed a lot in the last two years and is now under new management and I didn’t think it was quite as good, but across the road we found another bar offering free wine tasters so we will be putting that on our list. Next we went to the cruise office to book for tomorrow before heading back for lunch and cool down.

After lunch we ventured into Middleton to find the bike hire shop and the surf lesson shop which was quite easy to find as there is not many other shops there . While there the guy told us that the temperature was now 40 degrees (3pm) but tomorrow for our boat trip it’s due to drop to 19 degrees not much difference hope we don’t find it too cold as I don’t have any trousers but I do have a fleece. With Nick wanting to go horseriding and both wanting surf lessons the will soon fly by. Didn’t stay out long and are now back in the house with the aircon on, Paul sleeping on the veranda, Karen resting in their room, Chris playing his Ukulele, Nick reading to Bobbie and Dan playing and the two dogs just lazing around. Looks like an up and down week temperature wise ranging anywhere from 20 to 30 just a question of wait and see.

Just hope it cools down a bit before 6pm when everyone comes for the Bar B.
