Another good day despite the weather

Adelaide, South Australia, Australia
When we woke up this morning we saw that the metal kangaroo in our garden was laying on his side so sent the boys to give him the kiss of life but they weren’t very successful. According to the news there are 30,000 homes in South Australia without power so we are very lucky. Out washing that was on the verandah and survived, so all good there. It’s still windy and cloudy but the sun is breaking through so hopefully later it will improve. Karen and Chris have taken Coco for a walk and when they get back we will all have brekkie. The boys are planning the avocado and chilli jam a recipe we discovered last trip. Then the plan is to go to Goowla do a couple of the town walks we’ve seen in the brochure then another Aussie lunch before visiting some ineries. What else is there to do on a day like this.
We all enjoyed our heritage walk round Goowla with Chris as our guide, lunch was another stop at a bakery for pies, the boys do love their pies . We only did one of the several walks but even Bobbie managed it.

Well a great afternoon was had at least by the grown ups visited three vineyards and tasted loads of wines but the best was the last one we went to a new Winery called Fabel Wines on Vineyard Road not far from Goowla  was the best of the lot, not only did they have fantastic wines they also had lovely soaps and spa products, I’ve bought one recommended for sunburn so let’s see how it works tonight. Personally I preferred it to any of the established ones. Before we knew it the day was gone and we had to head back getting something for dinner on the way but just missed the butchers so had to shop in the supermarket. Needless to say we’ve come home with new wine stocks and the drinks fridge is full again. How long will it last?.

Now 6.25pm and are back at the house, Chris is starting the bar-b Nick is playing his Ukulele and Paul and Dan are playing chess, the rest of us are relaxing . The sun did come out later but it’s not hot enough for the boys to go to the beach, maybe tomorrow.

You guy's are definitely having a good time, packing the most in to each day. The breakfast looked very interesting indeed. Do have a drink for us. By the way temperatures here are struggling to get to 7deg C each day. Brrrrrrr
