Today the boys were the first up, when I came into the lounge Nick was reading and Dan was doing puzzles. Soon everyone was up, Liam was off to meet a friend to play tennis and next week he is away with friends.
Chris and Karen left just after 10am for their night away, and the boys came with us to the outside pool in Marion . This was a great choice, as usual it took us a while to find it but it didn’t take us long, the area has 3 pools, a playground and a flume the boys had great fun on this. The weather was supposed to be 30+ again today but the clouds came in and it didn’t feel anywhere near that, in fact in the shade it was quite cool. We hadn’t been there long before the first shower came and this was the pattern for the day luckily we had managed to get a table under cover and of course it didn’t bother the boys. Both Paul and I did get in, in fact it was warmer in the pool than out. The boys played in the pool until lunch and after they found the flume and really had fun, in fact in all they had 14 goes each and gave one go from each for Paul. The inner child surfaced again.

About 4pm it really started to rain heavy and by 4.30 we decided it was time to get back and cook dinner, plus Coco had been on her own all day. Once back Paul cooked dinner and the boys had some ipad time which went down well . They both enjoyed our shepherd’s pie for dinner and pudding was another Malteser Ice Cream.

The rain finally stopped about 7.30 who said the sun always hines in Australia, it seems really strange this trip to see all the gardens and fields green and not all dried up. Fortunately so far this year they’ve escaped any Extreme Fire Days long may it last.   

Bobbies tells us they only had one shower in Salisbury but they may get the rain later. It seems Winston’s feeling better as he destroyed a present she had wrapped up while she was at the shops.

After dinner Paul and Nick were yes you guessed it chess and are now on cards, Nicks just relaxing on the sofa. Before dinner they were watching kids TV which has now finished so now it’s adult time and Death in Paradise.
 
The boys have been so well behaved today they are good boys.
