Adelaide, South Australia, Australia

After the day starting windy with a cool breeze by the afternoon we did get up to the 31 degrees promised . Had a relaxing day today as we took acoastal drive down as far as Glenelg and then back to Henley Beach for lunch. The last time we were here we really enjoyed going to this restaurant right onthe beach but when we got there today it had changed into an Italian, the menuwasn’t that extensive but we shared 3 platers one of Chicken Pate, SpicyChicken Wings, and a Pizza which was enough. Enjoyed sitting in the sun lookingout over the pier and the sea, so peaceful. By now the sun was out but werestill a few clouds around, but by the time we finished they had gone over andit was warming up.

On the way home we stopped at The Watershed Café at theGreenfield Wetlands which we went to the other week but found it shut. This is another quiet restful place usually full of birds but not today all we saw wasone Spoonbill (too far away for a photo) a few ducks and moorhens, oh well they are wild animals. Here they have naughty cakes which couldn’t be resisted, Emmawould have loved the Chocolate Brownie anyway sorry Emma I eat it for you . Bobbie ordered Carrot and Walnut but got served Orange Cake so that had to go back, got the right one in the end.

On our way out we saw a sign for the actual Greenfield reserve which allows you to walk round the whole site, maybe if we get time before we leave we will give it a go. However I think tomorrow is going to be 41 way to hot for walking unless we get up and out really early, we will see.
Now at 5pm we are home, Paul, Bobbie and Winston are all sleeping so time for me to get on with my blog. Just listening to Adelaide Radio it seems we will now have 41 degrees for the next couple of days so that will probably mean trips out in the car with the aircon on full. What an end to our trip that will be.

Guess we will be having a quiet evening in.
