Adelaide, South Australia, Australia
Today Chris, Karen and the boys came over and we all headed off up into the Barossa for lunch to a lovely winery Pinarie which had fabulous views of the Adelaide Hills. Lucky we booked a table as it sure was busy and as we were leaving a coachload turned up so good timing on our behalf. Here they had Gourmet Pies which were delicious. Paul had Rabbit and Mushroom and I went for the Minted Lamb along with Karen. Chris, Bobbie and Liam all had the Chicken and the boys had Panini’s and of course there was the obligatory wine tasting session before and two bottles with the meal.

Next was a visit to an Aeronautical Museum which was a one man’s collection and was amazing, he had several fuselages in his large shed in his garden, with two more outside and in another shed was boxes and boxes of parts for all sorts of planes . It was really interesting talking to him and he was telling us how guys in the States are in the process of building Mosquito’s from scratch and come to him for genuine parts. By now it’s gone 4 o-clock and it’s half an hour back to Elizabeth then they have another hour onto Blackwood so by the time they all have dinner and the boys get to bed it will be late and it’s school tomorrow.

After they left we finished our packing as best we could and then we had a visit form Peter and Margaret from next door which was nice. Apparently the party went well and everyone had a great time shame we couldn’t make it but never mind I’m sure we will see plenty of photo’s up on Facebook soon.

The we all settled down for our last quiet evening in Elizabeth watching can you believe it Midsummer Murders” it was however the new series which makes a change as almost all of the shows here are from UK and normally old.
