Adelaide, South Australia, Australia
Well today we are off to Blackwood to spend our last night as this is a lot nearer to the airport and our car has to be returned before 11am tomorrow . By the time we finished packing and had the cases locked it was already gone 10am next came the challenge of printing off the Boarding Passes for Thursday, a challenge indeed as Bobbie had no internet and although by pay as you go router connected we couldn’t get it to connect to Singapore Airline site so after an hour messing about I decided to leave it till I got to Chris and Karen’s.
Finally got to Blackwood by just after 12 and with the boys in school we headed off for lunch as Karen had just finished her’s and we hadn’t yet been to one of her friends (who we me at the Australia Day Bar-b) cafe. Once back we tried to get the tickets printed but would you believe it
they had no internet either and using my router I had the same problem as I had at Bobbie’s just hoping now Chris knows what to do when he get’s home. Oh well if not we will just print them off at the airport tomorrow when we take the car back. Oh technology how will we ever keep up with it all.
Now it’s time to go and get the boy’s from school and take them to Art Class then back home for an hour before Karen went off to collect them . Apparently they did pottery today and Dan made a Chicken and Nick made a Dog of course they have to yet be fired so couldn’t see their finished projects but hopefully we will get Skype to work better with them all once we get back
and they can show us.
By 5.30 everyone’s home (except Chris) and all is quiet, the boys are doing their homework and Paul is reading his book. Me well I’m catching up with my diary entries while Karen’s cooking dinner.
Looking forward to a final evening with everyone as tomorrow night we are staying at the Aviator Hotel as we have an early checkin on Thursday if we ever get our boarding passes that is. Yeah boarding passes all printed finally, Chris came home and found that a mouse had chewed through the router cable after about an hour we were all back up and running.
