The
1728m Spitzkoppe, one of Namibia’s most recognisable landmarks, rises
miragelike above the dusty plains of southern Damaraland. We spent a morning clambering on the sculpted
orange granite domes and exploring the interesting rock formations. There was also some well-preserved San rock
art in the area.
