Interesting meeting today with the acting director of Public Health, District Health Manager for Goroka District and our MY-CHE staff in Church Health Services. Emma our National EDEN Coordinator chaired the meeting facilitating a SWAT analysis of the situation here. Situation is unsettled as the government people are in acting positions and unable to make commitments until the new Provincial Health Authority has itself organized.

This meeting was a good start on the reorganization of the MY-CHE/Health Dept partnership and will reconvene when the Church Health Coordinator is back in town and plan for a meeting with the new CEO of the PHA .
