Big Sky, Montana, United States
1/20 - Big Sky is, well, big!  Huge even.  We opted for a guided mountain tour but it was crowded with a dozen older skiers from a ski club from Philly.  After traversing over to hit Moonlight Mountain (previously an adjacent private mountain, now annexed by Big Sky), Ilja and I split off and went on our own.  Great deeps in the trees and we spent the entire day exploring that side of the mountain before traversing back.  Dinner at Blue Buddha for sushi and drinks at the Broken Spoke.  It was a little dead on a Monday night so we called it at a decent hour.
1/21 - Hit the other side of the mountain today.  I got stuck on a mile long snowmobile track (think easy green – unsure if it even ended at a lift!) and wound up in the multi-million dollar cabin community of Spanish Peaks.  Luckily the tiny two-person lift servicing the neighborhood was open and I got a ride back up and out.  I never saw another person beside the lifty!  We hit some double blacks and made it to 22,000 vertical feet today!  Gnarly.
