Kalaw, Myanmar
09:34 Half a dozen of us bailed on hiking, I wanted a lie in, didn't want to get my new trainers muddy, and my calves were hurting (despite extensive stretching yesterday after the steps!) so we decided to take in the town. Kalaw isn't very big and 1 street/10 mins into our amble we'd seen 3/4 of it already!
The ground is muddy and wet, the sky is grey, I think our self tour will be short!

13:26 We manage to wander around for some time and find somewhere to eat that served cheese (plastic cheese slices type) sandwich and a few chips ...a change from the rice and curries! I also picked up a few Tom and Jerry DVDs for 36p each!

20:30 A lazy afternoon doing nothing, just looking through my photos, watching a bit of tv and repacking my bag, was ended with dinner at a nepalese restaurant. Unusually I found a bit of metal in my chicken that could be described as resembling a paper clip. Despite the potentially injurious find, I really enjoyed my dinner.
