Pisa, Tuscany, Italy
09:27 I'm astonished- my calves still hurt today! Clearly I'm going to have to climb stairs more often to toughen up my legs.
10:09 New goals...
I want to see all 7 continents before I'm 40, how about the 7 wonders of the world...
11:13 Today we came today to Lucca as a bit of a day trip from Pisa, as one day in Pisa is actually enough and we were booked in for 2 nights so 2.5 days! Pisa really does only have the marvellous tower and cathedral and that's about it. We found a train from a smaller station up to Lucca which only took 20mins and was just under €4 one way.

Lucca is an unusual place as after getting off the train we walked straight out towards a huge city wall. You walk up a bit and arrive in this huge enclosing of the town and its many churches and squares.
14:11 I've had quite a major accident in a shop with my credit card buying shirts. 5 very nice shirts indeed. I shall look very smart at work after discovering 7campicile which also I think has a branch in covent garden.

Following this mass spend we continued to walk the streets of Lucca which was very pleasant and got the train back to Pisa about 5ish on yet another train that doesn't run on time.

Having showered and changed we went out to dinner at a place that served us a massive starter platter.
