The Alternative to Africa

We had planned to visit South Africa this February until we found out we were expecting our second grandchild then. Emily Felicia Laura Vita was born February 11, 2014 a week after Michael, her big brother, spirally fractured his tibia making a whole leg cast necessary. Her mother Heather also picked up a flu and visited hospital three times for rehydration before she delivered Emily. Thankfully Grandma Laura was not in South Africa and could provide some assistance! Now though Richard and I are looking forward to escaping the second worst winter in 25 years and plan to visit the Villages, Florida once again.
