Sunshine Sketches (I Hope!) - with apologies to Stephen Leacock

Richard and I are once again trying to escape the Canadian winter - even though we no longer have to shovel snow and it has been a relatively snow-free winter so far! We were planning to leave much sooner but my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer at the end of January and just this past weekend passed away. So now we plan to settle in for a month in "The Villages" in Florida. As always we love to hear from you while we are away from home so please send us your reactions, keep us up-to-date with your lives and certainly let me know if you no longer would like to receive my e-mail notifications that I have updated this blog.
