The Leapfrogging Lotus: China and the Jews of Asia
Marcia and I are heading for China for our first visit in 22 years and to join American Jewish Joint Distribution Commitee staff and leaders on a mission to the Jewish communities of Siberia and Shanghai. We hope to see for ourselves the Chinese colossus, explore the growing Sino - Israeli innovation ecosystem, reconnect nearly lost Jewish communities to the global Jewish world and help emerging new Jewish communities secure a foothold in the strategic Asian cities of the future.
