Treading Water in the Quicksand of the Middle East

AIPAC has invited me to join 13 other pro-Israel activists in a year-long leadership immersion program, which kicks off with a week in Israel. I leave a few days early to catch up with a few of the Israeli philanthropic and investment interests of the Leifer Family Fund and to get an insider's view of the country from my Kennedy School classmate, Israeli Air Force Brigadier General (res) Ram Shmueli.
