Of Hasburgs, Ottomans and Failed States - The JDC Says Never Alone and Never Again

Marcia and I decide to leave the pleasantness of summertime in New England for an extended trek through the lands of the Balkans and the Lower Danube. Our trip is part vacation and part Jewish mission to trace our people's triumphs and tragedies in this area and to assess and experience JDC's humanitarian and Jewish renewal work in these lands.
