On the road to Mandalay
Burma or Myanmar, the names are interchangeable, is just beginning to open up again to foreigners. Laos, one of the few Communist states left, is not that difficult to get to, but mostly overlooked by visitors to south east Asia. This three week journey will give us, together with our good friends and travel companions, Kevin & Megan Warr, a great feel for these two mysterious nations.
