On a clear day, you can see Russia

Erstwhile US Vice President and short lived governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin assured the world that on a clear day, she could see Russia from her living room. We'll check it out and let you know as we travel from Anchorage (a suburb of Palin's home town, Wasilla), along the Kenai Peninsula to Kodiak Island. Russia would be a bonus. Our goal is to seek out glaciers and bears while avoiding the "cruise crowd"
