Blackpool Belle's Unicorn to Slovenia

It has long been my wish to see the delights of Slovenia, so with 5 weeks free, I planned a vague itinerary which would (hopefully) see us there. We love castles and palaces as well as dramatic scenery, so the Romantic Road of Germany seemed the logical place to start, followed by the Alps and Austria on the way. The return journey would include a trip to Venice then the Black Forest before arriving back home, so after much research this is what we did.
