HAL 'Statendam' cruise to New Guinea

My very first cruise! A flight to Cairns to board the ship, then 5 days at sea from Cairns to Madang in New Guinea on Holland America's Statendam - part of its inaugural round world cruise. Plenty of time to settle in to the shipboard routine& explore all the facilities offered. A short tour of Madang on arrival, then a very scenic flight via Mt Hagen to Port Moresby with a stopover there before flying back to Sydney via Brisbane. Flights with Ansett & Air Niugini
