The "Empty Nesters" fly away!

Hello Everybody! Here we go again, Off to Smolensk for another adventure in God. We are so excited to be preparing for this trip. As you see we are going for longer. We saw that just going for a couple months in the summer was really not enough to train and evangelise. God has opened the doors for us to go back longer and has given us many ideas of what He wants us to do when we get there. It will just be Michael and I this time, which is a sad thought for us as we always ministered as a family. The kids are all busy with their lives in Seattle and not able to join us. So now we are full of anticipation as to what God will have in store for us. Michael has many things he wants to teach from God's word and I have been studying to learn how to teach ESL. (English as a second language) English has opened so many doors for relationships and the Gospel, I cannot wait to start some classes as an outreach of the church. English still is so desirable to so many, and the chance to learn from a native speaker is not available in our city. I feel way more confident now that I have been taking classes and can't wait to get started and see what God will do. So please pray for us: Praises: We have tickets as our friends gave us the miles to purchase them! We almost have enough support for our monthly needs. We already have visas. Prayer Requests: For the doors to remain open for religious workers to minister in Russia! For tons of grace and peace as we leave our four young adults here in the States, for our hearts to not be too broken without them! For the additional monthly support to help us live and serve in Russia, that many people would stand with us in prayer and finances. That God would go before us and use us to STRENGTHEN the church.
