Guyana and Suriname and Trinidad

For our 30th wedding anniversary trip, we chose three countries where we haven't been before and found this tour through Adventures Abroad. It didn't quite coincide with our actual day but was close enough. Was a lovely trip, with lovely people. Oddly enough, we were probably the youngest people on the trip (except for the tour leader). We don't have that happen very often. And also, probably not the most travel - in terms of exotic and strange places to go. And finally, it was the first time we'd run into someone else who had been to North Korea besides me. And the final "AND" was that everyone on the trip was really nice and enjoyable. Not a single stinker in the bunch which is really unusual to put together a group of strangers and have them all get along so well. So a good choice for our anniversary trip.
