An Albanian Winter Holiday - Lovely, Mountainous, Heat Challenged
Albania - Lovely, Mountainous, Heat Challenged We all agreed to go to Albania for our Christmas and New Year's Holiday this year. None of us had been and everyone I knew who had gone just loved it and exclaimed over how beautiful it was and how nice the people were and how it was just such an unexpected treasure. I did my usual hunting down of tours and guides on the internet and we ended up with Adventures Abroad as our agency to make arrangements with the local people. Two companies suggested I go at a different time of the year and couldn't imagine why I wanted to go at this time. In retrospect, we should have listened to their suggestions and ignored the three travel companies that constantly reassured me that "yes, everything will be open."
