San Francisco to Sydney - Cruising the South Pacific on the Sapphire Princess

It is far easier to travel than to write about it - David Livingstone We know some of you are looking forward to receiving regular updates from our trip. We're sure others have agreed to receive these out of politeness and some of you are probably saying: 'who??' as you read this. I hope that by the end of our adventure it will have felt like you were all with us and shared in our experiences. Either that or we'll be crossed off you Xmas card list. We can hear the cries of, 'DON'T!!...They'll only start talking about their bloody trip again!! Quick, hopefully they haven't seen us!!' as you cross the road (or sneak past our desks on the way to make tea!!) Whatever or where ever your mood takes you, you are welcome to join us in a voyage of discovery and hopefully we'll have some laughs along the way. You may not hear from us every day as we will be spending quite a bit of time at sea. Our silence will mean either: 'I'm not paying these prices to log on' or the boat has sank!!! There is a facility to leave comments on the blog and rate it as you see fit. We'd love to read your thoughts and witticisms. We may be sailing to the other side of the world but this could seem like we're all invited to the same party (but you've all gone and turned up at the wrong address!!) If we have a pretty uneventful day, I'll pad out the blog with photos. This'll save us from boring you all when we return home!! We hope you all enjoy the next 40-odd days...we certainly will!!
