Cruising the Western Med to North Africa on the MSC Splendida

Our names are Roisin and Christopher Hodgson and we're cruisaholics!! Or that's what we would be saying if it were true!! We can kick the habit anytime. Skegness?? Centre Parks?? No problem. We're happy to go there instead of cruising. This word means nothing to us. We could give it up just like that if we wantedt!! It's dead easy. The 'bug' hasn't got a grip of us at all. We'll prove it to you.... just as soon as we've taken the four cruises already booked!!!! This cruise is nothing more than a short break!! A 7 day 'quick fix' across the Med. Once again we will embark in Genoa. The voyage will take us firstly to Barcelona then across to Casablanca in Morocco on the North Afriacn coast. Thereafter we'll make the short trip across to Gibraltar then on to Valencia and Marseille before arriving back at Genoa.. There are still places to see and lots of new things to experience. I'm sure before the trip has finished there will be a fair amount of gags about 'of all the joints in all the world...' and 'play it again, Sam' In fact I'm already running a book on how many pubs we pass in Casablanca called 'Rick's Bar'!!! I'll try to keep the blog a fair mix of informative facts and observational humour. We are once again sailing with MSC on the Splendida. We both felt that criticism MSC received after the last trip was unfair and in some cases petty and unfounded. We have always found them good value for money.
