South India, Maldives & Dubai - Jan 2016
Exchanging Whatsapp messages with Suzanne in Sydney, I learned that she had booked a trip to India - North and South. Since I had wanted to go to South India and my Indian visa was good for 5 years, I decided to join the South India Explore tour. It was chocked full of travel goodies and we had a sweet young man Tinu from Kerala as our tour guide. The Maldives had been on my list for awhile and now I was close enough to go there. Tourism is such big business worldwide - it was interesting to be a tourist in contrasting locations. Finally, I wanted to stop in Dubai and see whtat it was all about. There are a lot of immigrants working in the Maldives and Dubai, especially in tourism - it would be fascinating to study the ramifications.
