Dave & Ann's Ride Across the Country - Part 5

These are the voyages of Bikeship Dave & Ann. Their 5 year mission: to ride bicycles across the country from coast to coast, to experience this country in a way that freeway travel in a car doesn't allow - to see it, hear it, smell it, feel it (gravel in the face), taste it (both at restaurants and from dirt kicked up by cars and trucks)! TO BOLDLY TRAVEL IN A WAY ONLY A SMALL PROPORTION OF THE REST OF THE COUNTRY EVER HAS! With the above semi-plagiarism out of the way - this is (Lord willing) the final year of our five year mission. We have already ridden through 10 states, and about 3000 miles - from Westport, Washington to Newark Ohio - in two week increments over the last four years. Our goal in year 5 is to ride from Newark, Ohio to Virginia Beach, VA, and dip our bicycle wheels into the Atlantic Ocean. Come along with us!
