Into the Amazon Jungle

Henry and I are heading into the Amazon jungle. We'll fly to Manaus. There we will meet our guide, Samuel. We'll head upstream in a very small open boat - onto the Rio Negros, and then into the Jau River national park. There are no people there. And no buildings. No electricity, neither telephone signal nor internet. We will eat what we catch, because the boat is too small to carry food. At night, we will tie our hammocks between trees to sleep. No tent. I may be (even) skinnier when I return. But that's what adventure is all about. Not knowing wat will happen. Believe me, adventure still exists. Hopefully you will enjoy this account.
