Adding another Stamp in My Passport~ Roatan, Honduras

I have heard very little about my latest destination, Roatan, which is one of the very reasons why I'm going to visit this somewhat, undiscovered island in Honduras. Always in search of the next best kept secret, and with a free flight on standby, I am excited to explore somewhere new. What I have discovered is that Roatan is not only a very close paradise ( less than a three hour flight out of Houston) it's always is surrounded by one of the largest Barrier Reefs in the world . Accommodations are inexpensive. I found a great place across from the beach with all the comforts I need...a bungalow with a bathroom, bed and a deck with a hammock out front ...my favorite part! All for the bargain price of $30. This will be a short getaway compared to my month and longer excursions that I have been taking lately. But short trips like these help satisfy my travel passion, and discover new exciting places that are just waiting for me to share with you.
