Searching for the Best Sunset~ Travels through Southern Thailand

Do you have a place where you can go where you feel completely free? Where you feel yourself. Completely at peace. This is my place. I have traveled all over this beautiful country, but the Islands bring to this place of peace and serenity that I haven’t found anywhere else on my travels. So far I’ve visited 30 Islands. I will add 5 more to that list on this trip. Starting in the south, at one of my favorite Islands, Koh Lipe. It’s the most southern Island in Thailand, a bit hard to reach, but easily accessible through Langkawi, Malaysia. It’s described as the Maldives of Thailand with it turquoise blue water and bright white powder sand. There are no cars here, you can walk most of the island in about an hour. You can also get around by taking local long tail boats. Most people have never heard of it, and that’s one of the reasons why I like coming here. My friend Kirsten will be joining me for the first 9 days of my trip, then Im island hoping up towards Krabi. After that im heading into the jungle and to the Koh Sok National park and staying in a treehouse, one of my favorite accommodations. Then to an adventurous overnight in a floating raft house in the middle of a lake. I’m expecting it to be full tourist season when i’m there, I’m hoping some of my off the beaten path choices will find me days with peace and solitude. I look forward to sharing my adventures with you and inspiring you to take your own adventures!
