"Don't Eat any Raw Tiger Meat." Travel Advice from my Dad on My Journey to Bali & Southern Thailand

One of the things I always look forward to is my Dads advice and words of wisdom he gives me before I Take off on one of my Adventurous Trips around the world. Most of these " Tips" are things that no one would ever do ,or try, or things that even exist, but I Love and appreciate his concern and input, and on things I should be careful of, and watch out for before I venture off once again. Some of My Dads advice have included.." Watch out for Head Hunters..." and " Dont bring home a Monkey..." This Yearly Month Vacation thing is starting to really grow on me. I'm beginning to take on the European frame of mind. Getting away long enough to fully immerse myself in exactly where I am. My choices tend to always bring me to far away places, far off the beaten path, long from the comforts of my everyday life. Longing to experience more of what the world is ready to show me, and so happy that I can share my stories with all of you that like to follow me along the way. This trip will bring me back to Bali, a place that captured my spirit. Then back to Thailand , which always brings out my Inner Hippie, with its laid back lifestyle and slow way of life. . I will visit some islands that I hope are the same as I left them, and to some new places that I am excited to explore. I will venture to a Jungle in a National park, filled with Friendly Monkeys and Wild Elephants, spending the night in floating cabins in the middle of a Lake in the center of it all. This trip I will be traveling with friends, sharing these adventures will be even more memorable. These trips have become so much more that just a vacation for me, but a chance to grow a more open perspective about this vast world we live in. I'm so glad all of you have decided to come along with me again on my journey !
