A Stranger In A Familiar Land (Or How I Grew To Love The Olympics)
It's been a year since being back in London and what with the Diamond Jubilee and now the Olympics, I believe London must have undergone a major facelift. Having just watched the Olympic opening ceremony, I am looking forward to going back to London to savour the atmosphere of the Olympic city. I expect that there will be a lot that will have changed since my last visit - not least having missile launchers just 10 miles from my Mum's home! My aim is to take advantage of the feel-good factor in London at the moment to experience it as a foreigner, which I suppose I am essentially. London 2012, here I come...
