Calgary and beyond

Marilyn and I are going to Calgary the first weekend in April (5-8 Apr) for her aunt's 93rd birthday. but, we should note: a) it is Marilyn's 65th birthday on April 16th b) four years ago I told Marilyn that at some point in the future, I would give her 48 hours notice that we were leaving the country on a trip. Now the real plan has unfolded: Marilyn thinks thought we are flying back to Winnipeg from Calgary on Monday 8th April. But, forty-eight hour before we left for Calgary ( that would be Wednesday 3 April) I informed her of her birthday present - a lunch date for an authentic salad Nicoise. (the only place to have an authentic salad Nicoise of course is in Nice France). The modified travel plan has us leaving Calgary on Sunday night for a flight to London, then Tuesday off to Nice for three days, then back to London for a weekend.
