Costa Rica - Holy Macaroni, can we really do this?

We want to try an international trip this spring break. This will be our first time traveling by airplane with Mike's wheelchair. There will be more preparation for this trip than any of the others in this blog. First thing - we all got passports in December 2017 for a trip in March of 2018. Second - Mike is researching destinations (asking friends, talking to travel agents, preparing the boys). Third - I am making sure TravelArk works the same as TravelPod, because I am definitely going to want to blog this one!!!! God of travel, whomever you are, please be with us. Bless this attempt at family adventure. Guide us to the right accommodations, the right flights, the right hotels, the right recreational activities. Can we really do this?
