The Black Hills of Gold(wings)

Trip long in the making, it has been discussed for at least 4 years now. But with a good opportunity to meet other classic Goldwing riders (classic meaning the bikes, not the riders!) with a meetup near Deadwood, this summer will finally be the one for this trip. With the group meetup scheduled for August 14 - 16th (Tuesday - Thursday), that leaves a few extra days prior to adventure farther west to Beartooth pass, Red Lodge, Yellowstone, Chief Joseph Hwy, Cody WY, and through the Bighorn mountains before spending a few days in the Black Hills. The idea is we would then return to Deadwood by Tuesday evening to meet up with the Goldwing group. We will spend the next 3 days riding within the Black Hills itself, finally returning home Friday. My dad has confirmed that he will be joining me on this trip. He will be driving a 2001 HD Ultra Classic, and I'll be driving my trusty and silky smooth 1986 Goldwing 1200 Aspencade SE-i - same bike I rode through this area back in 2010.
