Middle aged gap year

So we decided, maybe rashly, that we needed to force a change. So in November 2016 we put the house up for sale with the intention of not buying. We plan to house sit (anyone need us - we're there!) plus sofa surf with the kids - reversing the trend and generally wander. Then take another longish trip in September which is semi booked and ends up in Sydney at the end of the year. Then we will see what happens before finally coming back 'home' and finding somewhere new to live. Meanwhile in this blog we are charting our, er 'progress' in our travels and the ups and downs of being rootless wanderers whilst searching for our dream home.
