IT CAN ALWAYS GET BETTER

We leave the mild winter of 2016 and head to the hot summer far below the equator. We have flights into and out of South Africa, and absolutely nothing booked for our 3 weeks there. This is as spontaneous as it gets, folks. And just to make it even more adventurous, a few weeks volunteering in the Israeli Army should make this a very memorable experience. The recent loss of our beloved Betty (pictured here with David) has caused a tear in our hearts, and we are hoping that this trip will aid the healing. She will be in our thoughts every single day.
