NEWFOUNDLAND, BY GOSH, BY GUM
We're hitting the open road for far-flung lands, visiting Newfoundland and Labrador, the only Canadian province that we have yet to visit. From the many reports, both verbal and in print, it appears we are in for some of the most rugged and beautiful parts of Canada. It's also reputed to be the home of a hearty and welcoming citizenry, a unique cuisine that includes dishes like codfish tongues, seal flipper pie, and moosemeat in every form, and a culture rich in traditional values, history, and infectious music. Should be fun. Hope you enjoy coming along for the ride.
