China: The Good, The Bad, and the Beautiful.

China was not a trip on our radar, but when our neighbors temporarily relocated there for a job assignment, we were invited to visit. They made their home our home, and we had a jumping off point to head out and explore what China could offer. Of all the places where we have traveled, China was so different it was definitely out of our comfort zone and all the more reason to seize the opportunity. Life needs to be shaken up every now and then. Of course a two-week trip doesn't begin to scratch the surface of what China offers, but we squeezed in as much as we could...and then added some scorpion. If you get the chance, GO!
