Bhutan - happiest country in the world Nov 2014
Mountain Kingdoms has had a close and long standing relationship with Bhutan. Steve Berry, MK MD, first traveled to Bhutan 35 years ago on an expedition to climb Bhutan's highest peak, and so began his love affair with the tiny Himlayan kingdom. Today that relationship continues and we signed up for their Druk Trek expedition which included the 4 day Druk Trek, walk to Tigers Nest monastery, visiting Paro and Thimpu, visit to Phunaka monastery. At the end of the trip we extended in Nepal staying in Kathmandu and Pokhara
