6 day trek across the high Atlas in Morocco Apr 2012

Again this is another New Experience trip. A trek across the high Atlas from Setti Fatma to Ourigane via Timichchi, Tacheddirt, Imlil,Tamatert, Ait Aissa, Tassa and Ourigane. But the big difference with this trip is we are the first clients to walk the route. Its a new trek and has only been walked by Matthew of New Experience. Quite an adventure as you can see from the photos. We really did not come equipped for the cold and the snow. Traveled with our guide Abdou together with mule (Snowdrop I think !) and a muleteer. Lunches cooked on route, staying in small hotels and hostels. A great trip This entry is being written in April 2023 as part of a retrospective catch up of many of our trips and holidays since the purchase of a digital camera in 2005. Mike is able to carry out this catch up due to his enforced 'lock down' after new hip surgery in Feb 2023
