Mountain walks and Alpine flowers in the French Pyrenees May 2007

Walking holiday based in Cires in the French Pyrenees. Not sure how we made contact with Mike who was our guide. Mike and his partner, both Brits, rented a house in Cires from where they organised walking holidays in the surrounding Pyrenees. Us and another British couple who knew Mike very well. Full board and fabulous food....except the packed lunches which comprised of Spam and Laughing Cow cheese triangles. Can you believe it - in France. Still, we had a great week walking in mixed weather This entry is being written in April 2023 as part of a retrospective catch up of many of our trips and holidays since the purchase of a digital camera in 2005. Mike is able to carry out this catch up due to his enforced 'lock down' after new hip surgery in Feb 2023.
