68 degrees north of the Arctic Circle, Lofoten Norway Aug 2016

Heard of the Norwegian Vesteralen and Lofoten Islands? Neither had we until an ex colleague of Mike's suggested we'd find it a really interesting destination and it certainly was. A landscape of jagged peaks, rocky coastline with white sand beaches and crystal clear water and one of the biggest cod fishing industries. The islands benefit from the Gulf Stream and hence have relatively mild summers.
