Northern Rockies Life 2024

As I write this introduction for 2024 in March for another year of life in the Northern Rockies, I realize I am approaching my fifth year Montanaversary, having arrived to live in the state in late March on 2019. How time flies! With each year that passes, I feel like I’ve explored more of the region and am doing more foreign travel again. Thus, I suspect somewhat fewer entries in this annual blog that in some recent years since I was away for January and February, have a two month trip to Greece coming up in May, anticipate a California road trip in the fall, and have booked onto an Arabian Peninsula overland trip for the end of the year. I’m sure I’ll do a fair amount in Montana and surrounding states during the summer months, though.
