Visit to the Holy Land Over Holy Week -- 2014

As has become somewhat of a tradition in the Steele household, we took a family trip over Spring Break and I am going to try and capture the highlights and some photos, so that we'll have these memories for years to come. With only a few Spring Breaks left before Anna leaves for college, we've been stepping up the trips, trying to hit as many new and exciting places as we can. We had seriously been considering a tour to Egypt this year, and found an amazing package deal nearly a year ago, but with the security situation being what it was (and is), we're glad we did not commit to that trip. That said, it got us thinking about the Middle East. I have always wanted Katherine and Anna to have a chance to see Jordan, as I was there as a single man in the early 1990's. Plus, with Anna completing her Church confirmation this year, we thought a visit to Israel -- particularly over Holy Week -- would be more meaningful for her.
