Newlands exploring new lands

After my RTW trip in 2010, I was desprate to do a lot more travelling, only this time I would be on my own, making my own decisions and making my own mistakes. Although it's a daunting prospect heading off on my own, I had great support from my friends and family who had come to realise just how important travelling was to me. I had always wanted to travel, but ended up stuck between work and a mortgage and I just never got away. So after a change of job, selling my flat and generally having no ties, I figured it was my time to go. I booked a one way ticket to Delhi, my basic plan being to visit India then head off to Nepal trekking which I had always wanted to do although I couldn't decide between Everest Base Camp and the Annapurna Circuit!. From there the rough plan is to see Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and travel down through Malaysia, Indonesia and maybe even Australia. So I handed in my notice to a job I was really enjoying and just went for it. Let the adventures begin - who knows where I will actually end up and as for a return date...well who knows.
